The stitches are simple because they use the mosaic stitch method of colourwork. You will be working with only one colour at a time in each round. Easy peasy even if you are new to this type of knitting.This pattern is written out in full row-by-row and does not use charts.

You can easily substitute with any worsted that will give a suitable gauge.

Measurements: After blocking: approx. 74 cm/29” bottom edge, 51cm/20” neck opening,
20 cm/8” height.
Gauge: Before and after blocking: 21 stitches x 28 rows = 10 cm/4” square in stocking stitch with
5 mm/US 8 needles in the round. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.

Yarns Used:
Malabrigo Rios Pure 100% Merino Superwash, Worsted (9 wpi).
192 meters/210 yards, 100 grams.

Colour (A) 122 Niebla Colour (B) 030 Purple Mystery
Approx. 45 grams. Approx. 50 grams.

Needles and supplies:
4.5 mm/US 7 circular needles 60 cm/24” long. (for the borders).
5 mm/US 8 circular needles 60 cm/24” long.
12 stitch markers, one being a different colour to mark start of rounds.
Tapestry needle.
