Who doesn’t love a great theme for a cozy?! These Easter/Spring themed cozies in their pastel colors make me drool for more sunny days and blooming flowers. Inspired by egg decorating, knit up some for your baskets and gift them to all your friends!

Pattern Notes:

This cozy takes about 1-1.5 hours.  This pattern is not difficult for anyone who has already knitted in the round and has had experience with fair isle.  Gauge is somewhat important so your cozy fits an actual can!  Please note that different charts have different row counts and it’s because of the pattern of the chart would give a slightly different gauge. Having a can nearby for accurate height measurement is highly suggested!

Materials:

US 6/4.0 mm, DPN or appropriate length cable needle for magic loop, instructions are given per DPN, OR for the magic loop method.

Yarn: Any worsted weight yarn. My samples were knit with: Red Heart Super Saver: Aran, Bright

Yellow, Caron: Lilac, Craftsmart: Coral, Light Coral, Light Pink, Pink, Amethyst, Spa, Mint, Aqua, A washable yarn like acrylic works best so you can wash your cozy if needed.

Tapestry needle, stitch marker, soda pop can nearby to ensure height accuracy

Gauge:

17.5 sts + 27 rows = 4 inches/10 centimeters in stockinette stitch, finished cozy will measure around 5” x 4.5”

Skills needed:

Knitting in the round, increasing, fair isle

PDF is 5 pages, first page is title page, next two pages are pattern and notes followed by two pages containing 6 charts. One chart is the same with a different color option.
