This is a simple pullover with 2-button closures on each shoulder to make it easy to get over the baby’s head. The big cable band down the middle of the front adds interest and is appropriate for a girl or boy. It’s a very quick knit and fun to make in your favorite worsted weight yarn.

The sweater is knit flat, bottom-up. The sleeve stitches are picked up from the sides of the sweater body, then knit toward the wrist.

To fit 0-3 (3-6, 6-9, 9-12) mos babies. Worsted weight yarn needed is 205 (233, 263, 287) yards.
