This cute little knit hat will keep your ears warm!
Hat is knit seamlessly from the bottom up, with the earflaps added after the body of the hat is completed.

Recommended materials include 100-200 yards worsted weight yarn, and the following needles:
size 6, 16” circular (for bottom edging and earflaps);
size 8, 16” circular (for body);
size 8, double pointed (for top shaping).
(Optional: size 6 double pointed needles for earflaps, if you prefer not to knit back and forth on circulars.)
Change needle size as necessary, for correct gauge.

As of 2/25/18, pattern has been revised to include extended sizes for Baby, Toddler, Child, Adult Small and Adult Large.
Required skills include casting on, working in the round on circular and double pointed needles, knitting, purling, decreasing (k2tog and ssk) and picking up stitches.
