I specialize in easy knits for beginner knitters that look like they were knitted by a seasoned hand and I’m confident you will agree that my Easy Light and Breezy Scarf lives up to its name and my objective.

The pattern contains no purl stitches and is what my mother would have described as a “fancy shmancy” garter stitch. If you can cast on, knit, yarn over and knit two stitches together, you should find this a quick and easy knit.

Each half of the scarf is knitted separately, then grafted together in the middle, but don’t worry! If you’re new to grafting and the Kitchener stitch, you’ll learn this technique with my step-by-step instructions.

For a little added sparkle, I sewed Czech glass beads to each end of the scarf, but that’s entirely optional and I think the scarf is lovely even without the beads.

As with all my designs, I’m available to answer your questions and help you work through the pattern. You’ll find my Email address on the top of the pattern and I encourage you to contact me if you need me. I want you to be happy with your purchase, have a great time working on it, hopefully learn something new if you’re a new knitter and end up with a spectacular result.
