This is an easy, quick, attractive pattern for mitts to fit your favorite male or larger female. It is stretchy and fits beautifully due to that stretchiness. It matches my “One Hat To Rule Them All” hat pattern! So, if you want a set, look that up! (Please note: hat pattern shown here is NOT included in this pattern.)

I chose Berroco Vintage (worsted weight) yarn for its softness and durability and price. It’s perfect for hard working items like fingerless mitts. Washable, lay flat to dry. It also comes in gorgeous colors. You’ll need a set of size US7/4.5mm double pointed knitting needles and stitch markers.

You will need to know or learn how to knit in the round on double pointed needles, co, bo, k, p, m1 R and M1L.. That’s it! It’s worked in one piece, no picked up stitches! No seams!

Size: Mitt measures 9.25”/23.5cm tall, 5”/12.7cm wide unstretched, wrist length to thumb gusset is 3”/7.6cm, outer thumb gusset length is 3”/7.6cm, inner thumb gusset length is 3.25”/8.3cm thumb opening is 2” circumference, before blocking.
