Many new knitters seem to be reluctant to do color work. Come to think of it, more experienced knitters may also think twice before working with two or more colors! With my Easy Tricolor Felted Scarf, you don’t have to worry. Although there are three colors used, you never have to knit with more than one color in a row, thanks to the magic of working with slipped stitches! HOORAY! Not only that, you don’t even have to do purl stitches because the pattern is knit in Garter Stitch! Just knit every row, carry your unused colors along the edge of the work and before you know it, you have a beautiful tricolor design.

The pattern is lovely right off the needle, so feel free to make it without felting, but I decided to felt it to really make it pop!

If you’re new to felting, don’t be afraid. I’ve included detailed instructions on how to felt your scarf. And as with all my designs, if you have any questions, just Email me at the address listed on the pattern. I’m always available to help my buyers have fun and end up with a stupendous result.
