Echo Beach Sock is another quick to knit design, with an easy to memorise stitch pattern - a perfect travel project, charity or gift knit and a great way to use up left over sock yarn.

The smallest size sock only uses approximately 30g of a single colour yarn; I have used up oddments of yarn to change the colour of the cuff, heel and toe of my socks.

The cuff has a simple K1, P1 or K2, P2 rib, with ‘Grass Stitch’ pattern on the leg.

Both leg and foot length are fully adjustable so you can make a bespoke fitting sock if you wish, however, I have given suggestions for sizing/measurements for child, teen and adult size socks if you are knitting for gift or charity - which I hope you will find useful :-)

The design has been written so that you can use your favourite or leftover sock yarn with a suggested gauge on the yarn band of 7 stitches per inch.

I am a tight knitter, so the actual gauge for the finished sock works out at 8 stitches per inch measured over Stocking Stitch using UK 3mm double pointed needles.

I hope you will enjoy my latest free design - don’t forget to post and share photos of your finished projects - I love seeing them :-)

Happy Knitting
