Echo Strike ended up being a favorite pattern in my store, but many knitters wanted more than a DK or Sport weight wrap. So after many requests, and after Three Fates Yarns created its “Purple Rain” colorway in Terra Sock for the Jimmy Beans Wool Microbrew Series, I designed the pattern for fingering weight yarn! Top down and intarsia striping is as involved as it has been, with the addition of extra rows to accommodate the new yarn weight. Find your favorite two color combinations and cast on this delightful shawl for your wardrobe!

MATERIALS:
Three Fates Yarn –
• Color A: Terra Sock: JBW EXCLUSIVE – Purple Rain – 580-600 yds
• Color B: Helios – Uther – 120 yds.
US 3 60” circ needles.
Three stitch markers
Tapestry needle

GAUGE AND MEASUREMENTS:
About 26 sts and 30 rows in stockinette, though not critical.
72” in wingspan, and about 30” from cast on to deepest point.
