A single skein shawl inspired by Emma. Asymmetrical in shape, we start with an easy and breezy garter stitch – because Emma starts off the novel with “very little to vex or distress her”. As the shawl progresses, along with Emma’s meddling of love lives, I’ve added some arrow lace because Emma fancies herself as a type of Cupid. We end with a pretty lace heart edging as those cupid arrows find their rightful place, with Emma ending the novel with “perfect happiness”

I’m having a hard time capturing the ‘pinkness’ of the yarn, but please know it’s more true to life in the second and third photo :)
