Entrelac is a fun technique that I think works very well combined with other techniques and stitch patterns. In this project, I’ve designed a triangle lace pattern cowl with stockinette Entrelac edges, worked in two colors. In the sample project, the black yarn comes already loaded with sequins and the green yarn comes with attached glass beads. The cowl sparkles and is quite elegant for a night on the town.

This is an Intermediate level project. I’ve worked hard to provide easy to read instructions and included color photographs to help you along the way, but it would be helpful if you’ve worked on Entrelac before. You’ll also need to know how to pick up knit and purl stitches.

This will also make a beautiful scarf. Be sure to purchase enough yarn to knit it up in whatever length you choose.

As an added bonus, I’ve included instructions for making the pin, which is quick and easy to make.

As with all my designs, I’m here to help!! I want you to have fun and end up with a sensational result, so you’ll find my Email address at the top of the pattern. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you have.

I hope you enjoy working up my pattern as much as I enjoyed designing it for you.

NOTE: I wish to thank my knitting guild chapter buddy Eileen for serving as my model. Thanks, Eileen!
