Fair Fortune Socks are knitted with lace panels front and back, bordered by mock cables. The stretchy lace patterns produce a comfortable fitting sock and the Eye of Partridge heel flap allows easy adjustment for a good fit at the heel.

The socks are knitted from the cuff down, with a short irregular rib section which flows into the main Fair Fortune lace pattern. The heel flap is worked using the Eye of Partridge slip stitch pattern. The pattern includes a tutorial for a bobble worked over three rounds.

The sock pattern includes both charts and written instructions for the lace and mock cables. Instructions for construction, including the slip-stitch heel are written.
