Beautiful Fair Isle tam and mittens, from the 1940s era.

Yarn yardage given is for knitting both beret and mitts. For this, you will need two balls of main colour, plus one each of the three contrast colours. The beret is knitted in the round from the brim up and the mittens are knitted in the round from the cuff up.

A combination of written and charted instructions provided. This is a great project for a knitter new to Fair Isle. A beginner’s Fair Isle Tutorial is available on my website.
