This is the second pattern in the 2012 Shakespeare in Lace Accessory Club (April 2012). These women’s sized socks feature two winged-motif lace patterns. They are knit from the top down with fingering-weight (sock weight) yarn and have a gusset/heel flap and a boxy toe.

They are suitable for intermediate knitters. You should be familiar with reading charts, knitting in the round and basic sock construction. You’ll need approximately 400-425 yards to complete the socks as written, depending on which size you choose.
