Featherbone Crochet Shrug is a ¾ sleeve cocoon cardigan with a timeless look and a unique squishy drapey stitch detail. The construction makes it easy to be custom fit as you crochet it.
This shrug is sized from forearm to forearm to be fitted as a ¾ sleeve. The sizes listed are a starting point and rough estimate for yarn amounts. On average, the taller you are, the longer arms you may have. For example, the sample Featherbone Shrug is made to the 44”/111cm size which fits a 5’4” person with a proportionate wingspan to height.

Featherbone Shrug’s construction easily allows for adjustments and custom fit. You can pin and test wear the sleeve length before seaming. Sleeve openings can be made as narrow or wide as you want. Instructions on how to adjust the length are also provided.

Techniques: Crocheting to Gauge, Chain, Single Crochet, Herringbone Single Crochet (youtube video tutorial provided), Blocking, and Crochet Mattress Stitch Seaming.
