Pattern description from Knitting for Dummies: “This scarf is made from a ‘lite’ version of Icelandic Lopi. A quick spin in the warm cycle of your washing machine will give it a light felting, making it soft and fluffy (see it pictured in the color insert). You make it in two identical sections rather than in one long piece to achieve a pointed edge on either end.”

Dimensions from Knitting for Dummies: “The scarf I made measured 9 inches by 50 inches. Depending on your needle size and how much the fabric contracts in the felting process, your dimensions my vary.”

Materials: Four 50-gram skeins (109 yards) of Lite Lopi (100% wool), one pair of size 10 needles.

No gauge given for this project.
