Michigan winters leave me sitting by the fireplace enjoying a warm fire. The colorway I chose for this pattern reminds me of the colors of the warm fire.

Fireplace Ember is a bias triangular shawl. This pattern provides enough direction if you want to follow it exactly. However, if you are one that believes patterns are only guidelines and want to create, this is the pattern for you too!

Skill level: Intermediate due to decreases, increases and yarn overs. The main construction is a bias shawl.

Dimensions of shawl: Length 63 inches / 160 CM, width 17 inches / 43 CM

Definitions: CO – Cast on; DYO – Double yarn over; K - Knit; K2tog – Knit 2 together; P - Purl; RS – Right side; St – Stitch; SL – Slip stitch purl wise; WS – Wrong side; YO – Yarn over

A portion of every sale goes towards helping families in my church who choose to have foster children. This helps them to adjust from the stressful changes they are going through. Thank you for helping this local ministry.
