Flip-Flop Oxfords - Crochet shoes for street wear.

The shoes are worked on top of outsoles. In this case I have used my unique and new No Poke Flip Flop Sole method.
Easy, fast, cheap, and wonderful to wear and walk!
Tutorial included in this pattern.

No poking on soles!
• An edge is worked to fit around the sole.
• The shoe-top is worked around the edge.
• The shoe-top with edge is glued to the sole.

Advantage: Apart from the fact that no holes are needed in order to make these shoes, there are also no sole attached as you work them.

Ready for street-wear!
Washable if your materials are!

Enjoy your project!

Skill level: Intermediate.

• 1 pair flat Flip-Flops (no wedge).
Sole-sides not taller than 1,5 cm (0.6 inch).
• 1 tube transparent silicone/caulk/sealant (found in hardware stores).
• Tube-gun.
No need for gun, if sealant is in a hand-squeeze tube.
• Heavy scissor, or carpet cutter, like Stanley Retractable Utility Knife.

• 1 ball string/twine, hemp, sisal, jute or linen, about 2 mm thick, however workable with hook 3,5 mm (E/4).

As these shoes are not possible to make without soles, consider one of these three sole-methods if you are not comfortable with the Flip-Flop soles:

Door-Mat Soles Any size Customized
