Knit top-down, Folksy is a really fun yoke jumper that will keep your hands busy and entertained! Simple colorwork, little chevrons, cosy bobbles, choose your favourite color combinations, and let the fun begin! Once the yoke portion is completed, you can (almost) close your eyes and enjoy the rhythm of stockinette knit in the round.

The original sample (dark version), was knit out of yarn that I got at my by then local yarn shop aka Hobbywool in Riga, Latvia. But the yarn was only available in store, so that’s the reason why I decided to knit a second version out of a similar yarn (for those of you interested in the yarn used in the first sample, I’ve reached out to Hobbywool to see if yarn kits could be made available! I’ll keep you updated on that!).
So after a little bit of research, I ended up choosing some delicious yarn from Norway called Rauma 2tr Gammelserie. It’s a very similar yarn to the first one that I’ve used, both in yardage and texture.

The darker version as shown above was knit with +4” (10cm) of positive ease while the lighter one is worn with +8” (20cm). Folksy is intended to be worn as a relaxed fit, that you would wear with pants or over dresses (cropped versions would look amazing too!).
