The unusual lace front and the very new fastening to this high-necked jumper should appeal to the girl whose fingers are atingle to get busy on an advance model for her early autumn wardrobe. The fancy stitch is easily worked, and the remainder is done in simple stocking-stitch.

MATERIALS: 4 oz. of 2-ply wool; No. 10 and No. 14 needles; 6 fancy buttons; a medium crochet hook.

MEASUREMENTS: To fit a 34-inch bust; length to the underarm seam, 13½ inches; sleeve at the underarm seam, 21 inches.
