The Forgotten Dreams Hat is a quick and easy hat knit up in a bulky variegated single yarn. I find that colorful yarns tend to obscure most complex stitches, but I’m always drawn to colorful yarns because they’re just so pretty. I wanted a hat to show off the colors of a variegated yarn in a stitch pattern that would complement the variegation, and from there the forgotten dreams hat was born. The daisy stitch on the hat makes it more interesting than simple stockinette stitch, and yet it isn’t so overwhelmed by the colors that you can’t clearly see the stitch.

The hat is knit in the round, from the bottom-up, and would be the perfect project for an advanced beginner.
