Nadia Elgawarsha

I’m 22 years old. When I design I like making new things. I experiment a lot with knit stitches and general techniques. The nupp-y gauntlets are an attempt to use an uncommon stitch in much the same way that cables or lace are used for an overall effect instead of as an extra garnishing. For a while I was really interested in combining stranded knitting and cabling (squiggle hat, and bulls eye beanie). I’m still experimenting with it but have added variegated yarn to the mix (merging paths scarf in projects).

I’m currently working (very slowly) on adding charts to some patterns, and rechecking and fixing up some of the older patterns I wrote when I first started knitting. If you come across any problems with them, please let me know. I will get back to you as soon as possible.
