Foxxie Loxxie
Meet Foxxie Loxxie who likes to be a snappy little dresser in his bow tie.
He is made in the round with the head and body made as one. The legs and tail can be crocheted in for extra strength or sewn on later for variation. Foxxie can be a girl by changing the location of the bow tie.
This particular one is made with 4 ply cotton but any yarn can be used so long as the stitches are nice and close. The easiest way to do this is to use a crochet hook smaller than the thread usually recommends.
I used Clever Country 4 ply cotton which is a rebranded Turkish cotton that is slightly round in shape rather than a flat ply. These come in 50 grams balls in 169 metres (185 yards) and you should be able to make two foxes with the main colour with this amount of cotton.
