Gemima is made in the round with the head and the body being all one piece. The pattern notes are based on 4 ply cotton but any ply is possible - it just has to be tight enough that the stuffing does not come out.

She is about 30 cm tall from hoof to horn. She can be made shorter or taller based on the length of the legs. Arms and legs are attached to the body in the articulated method but can be sewn directly onto the body.

I used one 50 g ball of Clever Country 4 ply Cotton (169 metres or 185 yards) for the main colour and a small amount of other colour for the hoof, horn, snout and spots.
