Work this beauty in time for Valentine’s Day! The scarf is knitted Seaman’s scarf- style with its neck ribbing and fancy heart patterned length. It features rows of lacy hearts bordering a framed heart motif that is full of textured lace. Knit this in any luscious pink or red color for that Happy Valentine’s Day event!

This pattern could be made in a variety of ways to please your style. There are written directions as well as charts to work this scarf easily. It is knitted from the bottom up and joined with the Kitchener Stitch for a balanced look.

Finished Measurements after blocking are: 74” long x 7” wide.

Yarn: 462--480 yards fingering weight. Sample was knitted using exactly 2 balls Knitpicks Palette in color—Cosmopolitan; 100% Peruvian Highland Wool; 231 yards/50 grams. (If you knit at a looser tension please allow for about 480 yards or 3 balls to safely have enough yardages for your scarf.)

Needles and Notions: Size U.S. 5 straights plus 1 spare to hold stitches; yarn needle to work Kitchener stitch and weave in ends.
