Released for the Truly Unbelieva-dyeing Summer Shawl kit - a preorder running in July 2016. Also published in ‘On the Hook’, released in September 2017. Print copies available from www.trulyhooked.com

A large open shawl, with beautiful drape, designed to be made with three different sock yarns. The short row sections create a ‘wing’ which wraps around the body.

Choose a solid colour, a variegated or speckled yarn to really shine, and another contrasting colour to help break up the sections. You could even use scraps of yarn for each section to make a truly random shawl, however I’d suggest using a solid colour for the short row sections so you don’t loose the effect of the design.

Pattern is written for 150g of yarn, with the option to go bigger and use a full 300g and is ideal for hand dyed yarns.

Materials required:

3 x 50g skeins of super wash merino/nylon sock yarn
