From the pattern:
I associate this sweater with the colours and smells of our mid-winter celebrations: dark berries and evergreens amidst the scent of candlewax, incense and logsmoke.
Using as its source the beautiful traditional patterns of the fisherfolk of northern Britain, each part of this sweater holds its own knitting interest and history.

B - No. 420 Ascot Green - 1 hank

Rowan Donegal Lambswool Tweed 25g / 1 oz hanks:
