I am child of the 80’s. Intelevision, Atari, and Arcades was how we got our video fix on. I loved Frogger. Getting that frog across the street and stream full of aligators and snakes ready to chomp you up.. Loved it.. A simple clean game. We need more of these types of games these days but that is a whole ‘nother topic.

The pattern has froggies going up the front of the leg- they look like little tree frogs. Subtle but they are there. The back of the leg is ribbing representing the logs and a snake cable goes up the middle of the back of the leg- it represents the snake obstacle of the game. I am giving you instructions how to do the typical short row heel with heel flap, but in the pictured sock I used a the Fish Lip Kiss Heel by the Sox Therapist. The pattern is 1 dollar and is amazing. I knitted 1 row across before starting the ribbing and cable.

If I were to knit it again I would add a few more rows of plain knit before starting the ribbing/cable. If you are doing the heel flap you can go right into the ribbing/cable as soon as you go back to knitting in the round again.
