This pattern is available individually or as part of the From Russia with Wool collection (available at the moment for the special introductory price of only 5 euros - a considerable saving over the individual price of each pattern - please decide before purchasing as refunds cannot be issued for individual patterns against the cost of the collection).

This is colourwork you can do without reading a chart - everything is explained in text: but a chart is provided as a visual reference for those who like charts.

Russian stitch = very easy colourwork (you only work with one colour at a time and slip the stitches in the other colour).

Knit with 2 solids or 2 semi-solids, or pick a self-striping or variegated yarn for the CC to jazz things up a bit.

There can be one difference between the weights, making it a
good stashbusting pattern - use the DK for the MC, but use leftover or hibernating fingering/sock yarn for the CC.

Single loop: allow at least 100m/110 yds of EACH yarn.
Double loop: allow at least 200m/220 yds. of EACH yarn.
