Life with chickens inspired these mittens. “Fuss and Feathers” an expression meaning undue commotion seemed the perfect name for them. Feather and Fan lace, purl stitch accents and tumbling feathers keep the knitting exciting while you work these stranded color work mittens. Both right and left hand, including the palm, are fully charted.
Special instructions for the thumb gusset are included.

Varying your needle size these mittens will measure -
Large-with size 2/2.75mm needles –whole mitten is 12.5 inches / 32cm long-cuff and rib are 4 inches / 10cm- hand is 8.5 inches /22cm long, and hand is 8 inches /20cm around.
Medium- with size 1/ 2.5mm needles for hand- hand is 8 inches /20cm long and 7.5 inches /19cm around.

Knitters who are comfortable knitting stranded color work in small circumferences will enjoy this pattern. Floats will need to be caught in several areas.
