Fylleryd is my favourite place for picking blueberries, it’s a small forest a few kilometers from my grandparents’ house. When I started dreaming of a blue shawl with nupps I immediately thought of blueberries.

Fylleryd is a triangular lace shawl with patterning on the right side rows only, wrong side rows are purled. The pattern is charted and includes nupps. Yarn requirements: 400-700 meters of lace weight yarn. Light fingering or fingering weight yarn can also be used. Gauge is not crucial, use needles to obtain a desired lace effect.

If you are using markers they will need to be moved on some rows due to decreases and increases, instructions for this are not included.

Blue shawl used 1 skein Grignasco Merinosilk 75% merino, 25% silk; 1533yd/1402m per 100g on 2.5mm (US 1½) needles. Blocked size 170 x 82cm (67 x 32 inches).

White shawl used 1 skein JaggerSpun Zephyr Wool-Silk 2/18 50% merino, 50% silk; 630yd/576m per 57g on 3.0mm (US 2 ½) needles. Blocked size 140 x 75cm (55 x 30 inches).

Red shawl used 1 skein Teetee Elegant 70% wool, 30% silk; 550yd/500m per 50g on 3.0mm (US 2½) needles. Blocked size 125 x 65cm (49 x 25.5 inches).

Many thanks to my wonderful test knitters for all your help.
