This design incorporates leaf and floral patterns arranged in the style of a wrap top. A diagonal line of bobbles along the front from the waist to right shoulder mimics the crossover line of a wrap top, while a flower pattern is placed asymmetrically on the upper left front. Slight waist shaping keeps the sweater from sagging without sacrificing comfort. Made in a robust wool yarn, the design details will make this a stunning sweater for the winter months. Wear it with plain slacks or jeans to let the details take center stage.

The sweater is worked flat, bottom-up, with set-in sleeves. The front, back, and sleeves are sewn, and the neckband is worked in the round by picking up stitches. Directions for optional waist shaping are included.

This is a highly complex pattern with transitions between stitch patterns, waist shaping, and armhole and neckline shaping being worked simultaneously. Stitches will be increased and decreased while maintaining the stitch patterns. Explicit row-by-row directions are not provided, but general tips and tables of landmark transitions are given.
