Cables, doubled-turtleneck collar, optional pockets and full sleeves – this smock has it all! An oversized (4 inches or more of ease), long-line fit and knit in a worsted-weight blend on US#8s – sample shown in Knit Picks’ “Comfy Color Mist” in Peapod (219yds/100grams; 75% cotton and 25% acrylic). Knit in the round, from the top down, this also is just about done once you tuck in the ends! Cable stitch pattern is charted and written out.

• This pattern is written for seven sizes – first size is XS, all other sizes are in parentheses. Suggestion: go thru the design and mark YOUR size (using the above finished measurements chart; if you want to adjust any of these measurements for YOU, mark the pattern accordingly)
• Collar is knit flat, folded in half and then sts are picked up to create neck
• Back-neck has short rows
• After collar and short rows are knit, all else on the sweater is knit in the round
• Optional: front pockets worked as you go
• There are charts for the collar cable and optional cabled pockets as well as written out directions
