Unique, simple, and warm- the Gare du Nord shawl is a sensible addition to any wardrobe.

This is a pattern for a triangle shaped shawl knit on the bias. It is knit using 2 colours separated by a buttonhole row, achieved with bind off and cast on stitches. This element creates an open composition to the minimalist design. If you enjoy a little technical challenge in a basic knit project, this is a great shawl.

Weave the end of the Gare du Nord shawl, in and out of the buttonholes, keeping it secure during travels and adding appealing texture to any outfit! A classic colour block accent for the warmth, only garter stitch can bring.
