From book:

Knitted in the very simplest garter stitch in fine silk, these delicate little slippers are the ideal gift for a newborn baby, particularly when decorated with a rosebud trim or matching organza ribbons. Soft, stretchy and snug, they can be knitted in three sizes for babies from birth to nine months old. Only very simple shaping is needed, and the slippers can be knitted up in a few hours.

Each slipper is knitted in one piece, with very simple shaping.

Additional materials: Sewing needle; Organza ribbon 1 cm (1/2 in) wide x 124 cm (49 in) long

Techniques: Only simple increasing and decreasing are needed for this pattern.
