This wonderful bag utilizes changes in gauge to break up pooling in busy, colorful yarns. Makes a sizable market bag with a very subtle wave to its body, and can be used as a rough template for any combination of yarn weight and needle size.

This pattern is worked in the round from the top down and thus requires both a US 7 - 4.5mm circular needle as well as a set of US 7 - 4.5mm double pointed needles. You will only need one US 10.5 - 6.5mm circular needle.

Also requires approximately 15 yards of coordinating scrap yarn to make handles. This is also the portion of the pattern which requires the crochet hook.

ERRATA: The decrease round after placing markers around the bag should read “Decrease Round: (asterisk) Knit to marker, slip marker, k2tog; repeat from (asterisk) until end of round.”

NOT “Decrease Round: Knit to markers, slip markers, k2tog until end of round.”

This error will be corrected in pdf copies as of 6:30 pm 10/12/2011. Sorry for the typo!
