This beautiful pattern begins with the shawlette edge worked lengthwise, beads are added with crochet hook or beading needle as you go (requires approx 280 crystal beads). Once the edging is complete the body of the shawlette is picked up from the top edge and worked toward the top, using short row technique (without wrapping the stitches).

It is worked with approx 525 yds (480 meters) of sport weight yarn.
