This contemporary neck cuff is a statement piece with a bold, geometric design, accented with GLO reflective yarn.

Working the fair isle pattern allows for a structured yet cozy cuff.

Yarn - Any worsted weight yarn. The yardage shown above is a total.
MC (main color) white - 90 yards
CC (contrasting color) Dark gray - 95 yards
GLO silver - 11 yards

With its nice shape, this cowl can be used to cover the nose and mouth in cold weather. Because of this, machine-washable yarn is recommended.

The GLO yarn is machine washable when ends are weaved in a certain way. (Please visit www.ChiakiKnit for details.)

Needles - You need a smaller size for Garter sts and bigger size for Fair Isle work.

Fair Isle work - Please carry enough yarn on the back of work. Additionally, be careful the sts are not too loose.

GLO Reflective Yarn - GLO is a very unique, reflective yarn.
There is flat reflective tape inside a nylon mesh tube.
This allows you to knit or crochet GLO just like any regular yarn.
GLO reflects light, enhancing the visibility of a wearer at nighttime. Great for runners, bikers, dog walkers etc.
