A target pattern is achieved with short rows and intarsia colorblocks. FERN hits the bull’s eye as a great yarn for purses.
Finished Size: One Size: Length: 16”/40.5cm; Width: 16”/40.5cm.
Yarn: Loop-d-Loop by Teva Durham Fern (70% wool, 30% nylon; 81 yd [73m]/50g): #04 brown and #06 blue, 2 balls each.
Yarn weight: #5 - Bulky
Gauge: 12 sts and 16 rows = 4” (10 cm) in St st and #11 needles.
Needles: Size 11 (8mm). Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Fabric for lining, matching sewing thread & needle, and yarn needle.
