Gerberas hat is a seamless hat knit from the bottom up with lace.
Pattern is prepared for 3 sizes, to fit toddlers, children, adults.
Pattern is written for circular needles and using Magic Loop for crown shaping.

Sizes (head circumference):
S (45-47 cm / 18-18.5”), depth of the hat: 16.75 cm / 6.5”, approximate yardage: 112m/123y (32g)
M (48-52 cm / 19-20.5”), depth of the hat: 19.75 cm / 7.75”, approximate yardage: 150m/165y (46g)
L (51-56 cm / 20-22”), depth of the hat: 21.75 cm / 8.5”, approximate yardage: 182,5m/199,5y (75g)

Gauge:
28 stitches x 36 rows = 10 cm / 4” in Stockinette Stitch

Other materials:

  • circular needles in two sizes – first in size needed to obtain gauge, second in 0.5mm down (the sample was made using 3.5mm and 3.0mm / US 4 and US 2 ½ )

  • tapestry needle,

  • 1 stitch marker,

  • regular party balloon (to block the hat to a proper size)
