NOTE: This is not a detailed pattern. It consists of very brief pattern notes and colorwork charts ONLY. Remember to re-orient the chart if you knit the socks toe-up.

The knitter is expected to know how to knit stranded, how to construct a sock, and how to incorporate colorwork charts in the sock.

I hadn’t originally intended to publish this at all, but several friends have asked about it, and, rather than ask everyone to give up their privacy by sending me their email addresses, I have put up the pattern.

The motifs are coffee cups (with steam), coffee beans, and those blobs on the side are drops of coffee - the ones that drip so stinkin’ slowly out of the coffee-maker into the pot every morning.

If there are any questions about how to make socks, there are plenty of resources available to learn this, both on Ravelry and on other online sources.

Apologies to anybody who wants all good things from a pattern. If that is you, this pattern is probably not your cup of tea…

As Always: If you want to print off this pattern and give it to someone else without asking me first, that is fine with me (if you sell someone this free pattern, though, I would be mad that you’d rip someone off like that). I also believe that you have the right to sell any item that you make from this pattern, so if you make these socks and want to sell them, it’s your hard work - please go ahead and do so. My ego demands that you not claim this pattern as your own, and that you give me a little credit somewhere. Note: If you find that you make a huge profit, it would be gracious of you to send me a fancy-schmancy coffee-maker. I love coffee.
