Round 26: Butterfly making! Ch 2, dc in dc, (ch 4, triple crochet around two chains from rounds 24 & 25, into the 5th (center) sc stitch below (in round 23), ch4, dc in each dc) around, attach with slip stitch to top of 1st dc (27 dc, 9 butterflies).

Ginny’s Meadow is a mystery crochetalong for the HP Knitting Crochet House Cup’s Headmistress Challenge in the Spring 2016 term. Three clues will be released, approximately once every 3 weeks, starting on May 8, 2016. Successful completion of the pattern clues will produce an open, feminine cowl suitable for cool spring evenings.

Please note: while the House Cup game is Harry Potter inspired, the actual pattern for this cowl is not particularly Potterish. Of course, there’s nothing stopping you from making it in House colors if you want!
