Trifle is a mystery knit along for the HP Knitting Crochet House Cup’s Headmistress Challenge in the Spring 2016 term. Three clues will be released, approximately once every 3 weeks, starting on May 8, 2016. Successful completion of the pattern clues will produce a lightweight, textured, unisex cowl that will be a fitting spring accessory.

Please visit the KAL thread for more information.

Let your creativity soar! This can be knit with one color (solid or variegated), or two to three contrasting colors! If desired, you may change colors at the beginning of each section noted in the pattern.

Please note: while the House Cup game is Harry Potter inspired, the actual pattern for this cowl is not particularly Potterish. Of course, there’s nothing stopping you from making it in House colors if you want!
