This sweet elf is easy to pose and is a fun addition to the holiday season. She’s easily customizable with 2 choices of hair designs and lots of possibilities in changing up the colors!

Materials
Worsted Weight Yarn
3.25mm hook
8mm black safety eyes
Embroidery Floss: Black and Red (DMC #310 and 816)
Fiberfill
Fabric Glue
Tapestry needle, straight pins, scissors, skewer for stuffing
Optional white ribbon

Size
Gauge is not important to this pattern. The size of your finished product will vary depending on the size yarn and hooks you use. Made with the materials listed, the elf measures about 13” long. Using a thinner yarn and smaller hooks will yield a smaller elf. Using thicker yarn and larger hooks will result in a larger elf. An individual crocheter’s yarn tension can also be a factor in sizing as well.

Pattern Notes
The pattern is written for advanced beginner crocheters and beyond (mainly because of the type of terminology used). The advanced beginner is familiar with making amigurumi and understands basic amigurumi crochet terminology and stitches as well as how to sew pieces together, finish off, hide ends, etc. If you are not familiar with all the terms used in this pattern, there are a multitude of tutorials on You Tube that can help.
