Glove puppets: The Terrible Twins
They’re not really that terrible. In fact they’re rather cute.
This simple-to-make pair are small enough to be manageable for a child but there is enough stretch in the knitting for all but the largest adult hand. The puppets in the photos were made from Double Knitting (DK) yarns; other similar yarns can be used.
Puppets provide hours of fun for children playing together or alone and can also be used as teaching aids. These puppets have padded heads, with space for the fingers inside. When the fingers are removed the heads keep their shape so the little people can be played with, and put to bed, like dolls.
Of course, you can change the clothes, hair or face colour, as you wish.
