There is something so sweet about watching my husband and daughter feed our fish. She gets so excited watching them swim for the food and it is a special activity that they share. This sweater was inspired by none other than the mighty goldfish and the little bubbles it emits!

Sizing 0-6 months (6-12 months, 1-2 years, 2-4 years, 5-6 years, 7-8 years, 9-10 years)
Finished Chest Measurement: 18 (21.5, 21.5, 23.5, 26, 28, 29.5) inches. While 6-12 and 1-2 year sizes have the same chest measurement, other measurements vary.
DK weight yarn
Main Colour: 300 (325, 350, 400, 500, 600, 700) yds
Contrast Colour: 50 (50, 60, 60, 60, 70, 70) yds

22 sts / 4” in stockinette stitch (using larger needles)
US #3 / 3mm and US #5 / 3.75 mm (or as req’d to meet gauge); 24” circular and double pointed needles in each size
waste yarn, stitch markers, darning needle, buttons (exact number of buttons will depend on the length of your sweater, but approximately 16 (18, 20, 22, 24, 28, 32) small buttons)
