This pattern is now available as part of the For the Love of Stories eBook Vol. 3-Shawls for $12. Unfortunately, previous pattern purchases cannot be credited toward the purchase of the eBook.

Inspired by the children’s book, Goodnight Moon, this slightly asymmetrical shawl has a gentle curve along the top edge to hug your shoulders. The body of the shawl transitions from an airy Simple Eyelet pattern to a textured Open Star pattern and ends with a moon-like bind off.

This pattern is perfect for gradients and can be easily enlarged to make the most of your skein of yarn. Specific information about sizing, stitch counts, and % of yarn used is included in the pattern. Instructions for beading the edge of the shawl are also included.

Finished Size: approx. 55” wide x 26” deep (140 x 66 cm) after blocking (sample knit with 465 yds)
