The lace on the sleeves of this stylish sweater is inspired by the motif on Grace Kelly’s skirt in Rear Window. Pairs well with a little snooping.

My project notes: This is the first of the three designs inspired by Grace Kelly in Rear Window and her iconic Paris dress, designed by Edith Head. I designed the original lace panels to reflect the gorgeous embroidery at the waist of the dress. Incorporating that bit of alluring lace at the sleeves, this black top is worked from the neck down in one piece and requires only minimal finishing. The top-down construction also allows for the top to be tried on during knitting to assure a perfect fit.

CORRECTION: On the sleeve lace chart the rows that end as follows: 32, 36/40, 44/48, should read: XS, S/M, L/XL. The sizes listed in the finished measurements are the correct measurements.
