“Grain of Salt” is a top-down, triangular shawl with rich lace border and pointy edging.
It begins with a small number of stitches at the centre back neck and is, from there, worked in a traditional style, outward and downward, with four yarn-over increases across Right side rows (one at each side and two centered along the spine).
The shape of the pointy edging is additionally accented with moderate picot cast-off.
The pattern document contains both written and charted instructions.

Suggested yarn weights are : lace (2ply) - fingering (4ply) or heavier.
