Sparrowette is a top-down, triangular shawl with scalloped edging.
It begins with a small number of stitches at the centre back neck from where it is worked in a traditional style, outward and downward, with four yarn-over increases across Right side rows (one at each side and two centered along the spine).
The simplicity of the lace pattern makes it suitable for a wide range of yarn weights and an ideal project for a knitter beginner.
The size of the shawl can be adjusted by either adding extra repeats of the main pattern or using different yarn weights at varying tensions.

Suggested sizes are : S, M, L, XL.

Suggested yarn weights: lace-weight-worsted.
